The temps don't get any higher than 80, winter or summer. The room stays at 60% humidity (lots of humidifiers). And full sunlight from a south window.

Disappointment! My second flower bud started opening and I expected it to be fully open this morning. When I looked it appeared to be somewhat shriveled and the flower drooping. The plant is well watered, humidity was high too. The only thing I can think of was that the room it was in felt very warm. It was a very warm night and I think temps stayed around 80 over night. Could this type of bud blast be caused by heat?? Thanks.

Never mind, was not the heat. It was too much water. Bane of all Masdies!!!! Only two roots looked strong, but not white or green. The leaves and rhizome look good still.
