Tremendous natural specimen plant potential. I saw a number of massive plants of this in Ecuador. Seems like it holds its leaves really well and just keeps growing.

What a cutie, and as you say that plant seems to have just kept growing, what a mass of leaves for such a tiny plant!

Cute!!!
If it keeps growing and growing like that you'll need a much bigger pot!

Is that in a pot, or on tree fern? That is teeny tiny. You seem to be doing real well with these Masdies.

Thanks, Bill!
It's a tree fern pot, actually. I took a chunk of tree fern and used a 1/2" drill to hollow out the center of it. The plant is "potted" in sphagnum moss inside the tree fern. Of course, now the roots run all through the tree fern. With this species, I would definitely go with the EcoWeb next time around - it never breaks down, so a plant can be permanently mounted or potted. All I would have to do is move it into a larger pot or attach another mount.
