Wonderful species - this cultivar is named for G.C.K. "Stalky" Dunsterville, skilled amateur orchidist whose contribution to our understanding of Venezuelan orchids cannot be overestimated.
This is one of the showiest of the "smaller" pleurothallids. Very easy to grow.
Now this one is extremely nice!! WOW! It's actually one of the only pleuros that I might start to consider buying. You have a terrarium for all of these?

I do. This one is quite temperature-tolerant, but it needs to be kept moist. It forms a magnificent small specimen plant pretty quickly.
Careful, it's a slippery slope!
Also, Lepanthopsis astrophora is, by far, the showiest of the lot. I grow several others, but this is the one that makes everyone "ooh! and aah!"
I don't grow Lepanthopsis hirtzii, but I wish I did... It's fabulous. Here are a couple of pics from Ecuagenera.
I think both are great but, does anyone else think the flowers on the Lepanthopsis hirtzii look like kangaroos seen from above/ stretched out.... or is that me being weird?
(Wonderful photography as well I might add!)

Thanks, Jennyfleur!
I can't see the kangaroos, but that doesn't mean they aren't there! Sheila thinks it looks like a plate full of bacon. On closer examination, each strip of bacon has a little pig face in the center. I totally want one of these plants, and I didn't buy one while I was at Ecuagenera. I've been kicking myself.

I do see thr kangaroos, but also see monkeys hanging from their tails, with their back legs hidden. LOL
