This is a cold growing species. Really high elevation. Just like M. coccinea and M. ignea. Its very gorgeous!!!

It likes cold and high altitude... temperatures about 10 -18º C (Night-day) and over 2000m high...
I don´t know if it flowers in lower temperatures...
I think is difficult to grow, a friend has a good plant but it never flowers in very good conditions... anyway I´m proud of my flowers!!!!
