Default Physothallis cylindrica (syn Pleurothallis)

Picture was taken at the orchid show in Aachen Germany. Shot could have been better but so is life.

Really strange flower reminds me of something else then an orchid.

These are really delicately beautiful. I had one before.

One of my favorite Pleurothallids.

Without a macrolens, I can't take photos of small flowered plants in great detail and so close up, but I have several photos of the plant with the entire inflorescence. They are very nice plants.

Reminds me of body snatcher pods. But way more beautiful. This is great. How large are the blooms? Do you have a pic of the whole orchid? I can't even begin to guess at what this one might look like with flowers like that.

Didn't take a shot of the entire plant. The plant was however a very normal Pleurothallis like plant. About 10-15cm's tall with a fairly long inflorensce (about 40cm).
