Default Masd. don-quijote

The flowers of this unique Masdevallia are supposed to resemble the legs of the horse (lateral sepals) and the lance of the Spanish "hero."

Orchids in Bloom: Alaticaulia don-quijote

This plant is available for trade or sale - it's a large plant with 12-15 spikes and is just coming into bloom.

Very nice, I can see the resemblance to the horse, maybe. Thanks for posting.

Interesting one. The lateral sepals remind me of old fashioned drawings of horses legs.

I can see the resemblance too and kind of like the comparison.
