Ron,
How do you do it? Every time you post a masdie pic, it's more striking than the one before.
Striking.

J, I get almost as much enjoyment out of photographing the plants as out of growing and blooming them.

Hey Ron, photography is one of my top passions too and like you I love taking their 'portrait'. So I usually recognize in their photos when someone else enjoys photography. Silken is our wonderful not purebred Abyssinian cat. She is so cute and that photo of her in my avatar has won a couple of minor photo contests. I decided it was a good screen name and avatar! Guess I could use an orchid photo instead tho

Very nice, I like the flaring of the tips of the sepals, guess it got that from Angel Frost.

Beautiful cat. We've had several cats over the years, a beautiful black Persian, a lilac Balinese and a Manx, but I'm allergic to them and that was getting worse, so ...

Yes, it is slightly flared in comparison to mendozae and that must come from Angel Frost. The color is also slightly more yellow especially near the end of thee tube, but that's a bit hard to catch in the photo.

Really nice. I quite like the more flared shape compared to mendozae but I could easily mistake it for that at a first glance.
