I would describe that as "Glowing". Reminds me of the hot embers of a fire.
Stunning blooms and thanks for sharing!

I love it! My windowsills get cool at night in the winter, but I'm not sure if it would be cool enough. Night temperature in summer here are 11c, though

I would think you should try them. Just get one and see how you go.

I know that there are some that can take higher temperatures than others.

I'm on Vancouver Island in Bc. Our summers are sunny and warm, but night temps range between 7 and 11 most nights. Winters are mild and wet, so humidity is good for growing on windowsills. I also have basement windowsills for those hot days.

OrchidWiz says it needs med (dappled) light and cool to cold conditions (50 to 60F at night). If that's too cool, there are other ones that would take warmer temps.

Yes, I would go for one that likes warmer temps. They can also take fairly cool night temps, but will tolerate the warm summers a little better, though the basement windowsill with an open window would also work well.

It is usually around 52F at night here during the summer, but sometimes a little lower. The nice thing is, even if the days are hot it always cools down at night.
