Default Masdevallia eumelia

Photographed at Ecuagenera's main (cooler-growing) nursery in Gualaceo, Ecuador (near Cuenca).
This is one of many species that I wasn't familiar with before my visit. Irridescent colors!

I've got a year or so worth of pics to post. I'm exhausted from birdwatching right now - I might not get much done before my return to the States. Lots of hummingbirds today!

i was just joking. thanks though! they have some wonderful plants, but im wonderfully broke! haha but i need an orchid fix soon, im thinking some masdies are gonna be next on my list. but this one wouldnt do well for me, too cold.
