Default Platystele stenostycha *MINI*

Was bored and decided to take some pics.
Platystele stenostycha. Got it in the fall from Andy's Orchids.
Last one shows the bushy plant on the right side of the tank. Then a close up of the teeny tiny flowers.

I think you should count the flowers - tell us how many there are.
This is one of my personal favorites, and really pretty without flowers, too.
God growing - Nancy

Thanks!! Count the flowers? , I could use the old Microbiologist trick and count the flowers in a square and multiply!

I think this is one of the FEW problems with minis - too many flowers! Go figure! When are we every happy?

Good growing Tindo I've tried that one but to no avail. The other Platys seem happy If at first you don't succeed try try again J&L has one with a dark red center that's real neat.

Really cool!

So, what conditions do you give yours? I thought this one was pretty easy.

Well I give mine temps from 60 to 83. Low end at night. Get plenty of drying time at night too. The high evaporation rate at night could very well be reducing temps on the plant itself below 60?

No cooler, or chiller. Just open windows or AC in the room when needed. I only wish my Masdies were as thankful.
