Default Masdevallia strobelii

Just in time for Christmas, this is by far the best bloom I've ever had from a Masdie: 26 blooms on a fat and happy little plant. It was giving me mixed results potted, until I mounted it on a cedar shingle, and then it just took off. I grow it I/W in bright shade. Thanks for looking, and happy holidays!

Thanks! It's an eBay purchase from two years ago, originally a small division with four leaves. It has a faint scent, kinda like spicy gumdrops.

Amazing! Dont you love when your orchids do nice things for you on Holidays? Masdies to me doesnt strike as orchids that would thrive mounted - so good growing! and thanks for sharing.
