I bag a lot of my moisture-sensitive orchids when I have to be out of town for a week or more, so far I've observed no ill effects. The ones that aren't bagged tend to fare worse, especially with the drying central heat going this time of year. I usually leave the bags open slightly to allow gas exchange, and I pull them back from the windows so they don't cook when the sun gets bright. Hope this helps!

Oh, and I like your Lepanthes a lot, too, nice growing!

Thanks guys. Glad to know it may work Nat. I have my beloved neps to bag as well. Last year a couple dried up and died. Surprisingly inspite of being on a mount, the lepanthes was ok. I am not taking any chances this time.

I'm with Nat on this. I bag my Lepanthes for a week or two with no ill effects. They'll tolerate anything a Nepenthes will... (I envy you the space to grow Nepanthes!)
