Ron, that sounds wonderful. It was the only Masdevallia I wanted to grow, and it really just crapped out. It didn't have a lot of roots when I got it. I mounted it in the same way I've been doing the Lepanthes and Pleurothallis. Maybe I should have put it in a little clay pot...
When I first started with orchids 30 years ago I used to keep records of every bloom, every fertilizing, every repotting, every time the plant went to a meeting or a show. Now I just "wing it."
I try and keep records of the blooms, repotting and a rough status check every few months. They are not the most acurate records though as things happen and I don't have time to record it. Oh well, enjoying them is the key

That's what I've come to think - just don't have time to keep a lot of records and worry about a thousand little details.
