that's a pretty funky looking plant. What are the blooming habits like?
It's tiny - the growths are only a 1.5-2 cm or so tall and it grows on a creeping rhizome with a short space between the leaves - the flowers come in spring/summer and are very long lasting.
It is a very cool looking plant Ron! I can't make my mind if I think of a slug first or a Sarracenia seen the flower , but I've never seen a slug so nice and red
BTW, last night I was chasing slugs IN my Sarracenia!!! (in a miniature bog I have on my balcony) They were probably attracted by the moisture or the rotten bugs smell...

A miniature bog on the balcony - I never cease to marvel at people's ingenuity, and Sarracenias, too! We'll be going soon to visit a bog in our area where someone planted various carnivorous plants and they've naturalized!
