Actually the photo doesn't do it justice. It's a division of an awarded plant and I have to say the purple is very deep and looks like velvet.....it is simply superb. So you should aim to get one.

If you try Mount Beenak Orchids in Eastern Melbourne or Bill Miles at Species Plus they both have divisions of this one. Also you will find that Royale Orchids has divisions but they are extremely expensive. Royale also have a version called "Windmill" I believe which is meant to be even better than this one.

I haven't seen it so I can't comment but all of the growers are accessible from where you live and you can order by phone. Hey, are you going to the orchid fair next month Damian?
