Hi, nice flowers. Do you think it has to do with growing conditions, age, or is it waiting for someone to name the new species?

They are both very nice! The second one is really unusual in both shape and coloring!
Great job!

HI
The leaves are very simillar, the stem from the first is half of the second, but the flowers are different I donīt think is a question of time (DM), or growing conditions... to change one into other.... the two plants are from different towns with different ecosystems .... I think thereīs a lot of pleuros here in Ecuador and someone donīt want to name sooo many...

Looks like it (they) belong to section Acronia. Fairly good size plants I would guess. Nice flowers.

The plants are not so big....
1. 10 - 12 cm leaves
15 cm stem
4 -5 cm open flowers (one per leaf)
This plant is in a # 10 pot

2. 12 -18 cm leaves
20 cm stem
8 - 10 cm open flowers (one per leaf)
This plant is in a # 7 pot

The flowers are not stucked to the leaf... they have a little stem.
1. 1 cm stem
2. 2 cm stem
