Wonderful pink. I love this one.

I've just bought a second Masdi and I had to check what it was because the pics of it's flowers on the website look really like this.

My new one is Masdevallia amabilis though, really similar looking to my eye.

Its pictures like this that remind me why I am growing Masdies in the first place. Wow!
I really like the recurved dorsal sepal. What a beauty!

Seeing yours always depresses me that I haven't been able to grow these. Unless I spend some bucks, I'll never be able to grow them.

Lovely bloom though!

This one is a bit more temperature tolerant than the usual M. coccinea.

I doubt it would like the upper 90s that we get here during most of the summer. Oh well, I have lots of others that bloom very nice.
