Masd zahlbruckneri going strong!
All this time, I've had this mount hanging vertically...and wondering why the cute little blooms were so hard to see clearly
Had a moment of mental clarity today and realized that if the mount is lying flat, the blooms show themselves in a much better light
Duh!

Happy looking plant and nice blooms! Are they brown? Do you have closer photo?

Gorgeous blooms. Now is this flat rule general for all Masdies? Or will my vertically mounted Masdies show me their blooms? I hope so, cause at this point I'd have to rip them off the background in my orchidarium(root and all) to get a good luck.

Nice How long have you had it mounted for and how often do you water it? I'm thinking about mounting my Masd. and Drac. onto treefern panels with ends sitting in water so as to wick up the water providing constant even moisture at the roots.

Hi Damian,
I got this as a travelling companion for Jessica...my Phal lobbii from OB's Project 1, from Andy's
It gets heavily misted every day, in warmer weather that goes to at least twice, sometimes more.
Here's the close-up:

Cute Thanks for the info and closeup! Is it growing in your GH, terrarium or other growing area?

Until recently, all my 'chids were growing in areas around the pool and lanai. Now that we've built the sunroom, this baby stays in there
