Default Pleurothallis (Orbis) truncata

Hi all,

I received this one about a year or more ago, and at first it wasn't successfully producing new leaves, the new growths would always dry out and wither away. Recently as some of you know I have moved my setup to a more humid environment, and now it has about 14 new leaves on the way and is in bloom! First blooming for this plant, hoping that the future ones will be more inspiring

Very nice! I thought these had heart-shaped leaves - per the description in a book I have. What humidity do you have now? I'd like to grow these, but humidity may be an issue.

On this one I accidentally found out that I should keep the medium rather moist, wet moist. It grows the fastest when its grown wettish. I keep the humidity above 70%.

Default New Picture

Hi all,

I took another pic today in hopes that it would be a better pic and do the plant a little more justice. Well you be the judge.
