I picked this one up from J & L Orchids table at the 2010 Minneapolis orchid show after seeing someone's very nice plant in the show with lots of blooms. This flower opened since it came home and has stayed around the two which were on it when I got it withered quickly.
Will this species grow well mounted on a branch with roots covered with LFS and eventually live moss?
Very nice species. Its an epiphyte, that likes it cool no doubt, being found in the wild at 2000 or so meters high in wet forests. I would say keep it humid and in the 70's. As long as those conditions are met, it should be fine mounted.
