Masdevallia floribunda
First bloom for me. Mounted on a six-inch chunk of wood, around two dozen individual blooms with more buds on the way. Grown intermediate/warm, 55% humidity.
Thanks for looking!

Stephen, that is fantastic. All those blooms make me envy you. I just fight to keep mine alive. 2 dozen blooms is too much to wish for.
I also love the way it looks mounted.

That is gorgeous, so many blooms. That goes on my wish list straight away!
Do you keep it outside or inside, and what sort of temp range is intermediate to warm in this case?

I live in the tundra, and nothing really lives or grows outside up here except for three months of the year. I keep it inside on my growing shelf. Temps average low 70s during the day, mid 60s at night in winter. Summer temps can creep up to the 80s, but floribunda is one of the "warmth-tolerant" species.

OMG!!! That is crazy!! Crazy! Well I have to show mine that picture. But i do have to say that mine has survived and done well in a variety of growing situations and survived a few pest attacks. Tougher than most of my other Masdies. Now thanks to your pictures I have a goal to reach!! :yay:
