Scaphosepalum verrucosum Male
Default Scaphosepalum verrucosum

This one has been in flower for over 9 months now as the flowers are successive as the spikes keep growing longer and longer. This is grown in a clay pot in a tree fern/perlite/sphagnum moss mix under lights given I/C temps.

This is more than just a cutie! Each individual flower is a cutie. As a whole, this one puts on a show! There are multiple flowers on one spike (around 10 flowers per spike - this is a guesstimate). One pot could have multiple spikes flowering simultaneously. These stay in bloom for a long time.

This particular species is very much unlike many Scaphosepalums currently in the market because of the above described characteristics.
