Lpths. astrophora
OK, as unbelievable as this may seem, this is one plant! I got this from Ivan @ Komoda Orchids last year about this time. It was in a tiny little 1" maybe 1.5" clay pot in sphag moss. It grows with a Restrepia habit so you can cut a leaf and stick it back in the moss and it will take root!!! It also prefers (or at this this one does) to grow in cooler temps but will adapt to intermediate temps with strong air movement. This "little" guy is constantly in bud/bloom and hasn't been fertilized in over 8 months. I think if I had to choose a favorite, this is in the top 5!

Lpths stands for Lepanthes. (I know, there are so many names out there and then the abbreviations to go with them! It gets confusing fast!)
That's a beautiful plant, Dana! I've liked this Lepanthes for a while now, but now that I know the potential it has, I LOVE it!!!
I seriously need to start refining a list of the next round of orchids to look for, and I think this one will be on it! It's so tiny but packs a lot of flower power!
