Default Looking For Lepanthes and macodes

Hi everyone. Been a while for me.

Anyone know where I can find Lepanthes Calodictyon and Macodes Sanderiana? I have found a macodes s. on ebay that I'm watching, but no luck finding Lepanthes calodictyon.

Also, how difficult are they for the West window sill? So far I am doing reasonably well with phals, plerothallis grobyii, chiloschista, stelis, and other minis...

I'd be curious to know what you're doing to manage temperature, humidity and air movement for your plants.
There a couple of places you might be able to acquire the Lepanthes - J&L Orchids and/or Lynn O'Shaugnessy. Their respective websites: J&L Orchids ~ Home Page
Orchids of the Pleurothallid Alliance

Ecuagenera? They have lots of Lepanthes calodictyon. They constantly bring them to shows.

Orquideas del Valle - so do they.

Lynn may not carry or sell a lot of Lepanthes now. She had a power outage in one of her greenhouses containing the Lepanthes a few years ago. Been asking her for Lepanthes availability and she keeps saying she might not have enough to let go of.

Not sure if J&L are selling them now.

Andy's has them, but they're not listed.

Petite Plaisance has them too.

Oak Hill Gardens may have some Macodes.

I hand mist them several times a day. They are in a window facing West so the temps in the window fluctuate more than in the rest of the house. We keep the house fairly cool throughout winter... not so good on the air movement...no greenhouse...

Thanks for the information!!!

PS: I try to let them out to play (sit outdoors) when the temps are mild...

Sad to hear that. I wonder how many orchid firms have closed over the past two years. The economy seems to have impacted everywhere...AOS has had cutbacks also.
