Masdevallia Blue Angel
Not exactly blue. I bought this recently due to liking the colour and not about the show qualities it might have. Not the best shape but the colour is very interesting although hard to capture perfectly on the camera.

Really pretty, but definately not blue, I wonder how it got the name. I love Masdies like this.

I really like this one. I just started growing these babies again after killing a couple about 3 years ago.
I hope I can keep these alive, I don't really know what I'm doing but I think I know a little more than 3 years ago. Wish me luck.
What is the very dark one on the right side of the bottom pic?

I like the faint traces of yellow-orange along the lobes and on the tails. Certainly not blue, but a lovely color all the same.
I second Marylin's question! What IS that seductively red Masdie in the background?

You are right - that is a very pretty color. It's almost a baby pink! And, third time's a charm - I would love to know that beautiful red Masdie as well!

The dark one is an excellent flower and it's called Rein Sun. Dark colouring and solid substance.
Not sure how it got the name.

I have posted a photo of it in this forum (first flowering) earlier this year at this link:
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...flowering.html
It is a much darker flower than this photo shows but I think you get the idea.
