Masdevallia polysticta
Masdevallia are very addictive plants, I must recognize! If I had the right climate I'd have much more of them. Masdevallia polysticta is an intriguing species from Ecuador, with its multi-flowered stems.

Wow, I love Masdies but I usually prefer the brigher coloured ones, I love this one though. Those are wonderful flowers.

Beautiful! This reminds me of one of my favorites, caloptera, except that one is striped and yours is spotted. I'm expecting my first Masdie soon, a selfing of Masde infracta 'Purple'. Although now I'm in a hot dorm room instead of my air conditioned house which is also in a milder, more humid climate. I bought it originally because my house is so cool.
Send some of your luck my way, Mauro! I think I'll need it!

Awesome, Mauro! Love the spots and the little hairy fringe. Neat shape too. Yeah, Masdies are serious trouble!

Unique! I love the trichomes on the flowers, make it look frizzy. I also really like the color, its not a brilliant colour, but it is a pleasant one to look at.
