Yes, this species has big purple spots on the leaves and that is normal. Some clones have more spots than the others.

Beautifully bloomed. Thanks for posting these wonderful flowers.

My favorite mini so I am trying it for the second time. This time I am trying water culture since I grow in the house. It is putting out two new leaves but not many roots.
