Hi , Is the plant a cooler grower ? If so and the conditions are 2 warm that happens also they like quite a bit of air flow . It could be caused by heat from the lights as Harry posted .. I have an infracta supposed to be warmth tolerant it is to a point, but If I do not move it in the summer to a cooler area with less light it will get leaves that look like yours . Can you post the plant name and growing conditions Temps, light ect ..? Gin

agree with all of above but would suggest lack of adequate air movement for the heat/humidity situation.

Hi Everyone I don't know what the growing conditions are for this Masd. Its on the bottom shelf of the Orchidarium. The name is: Masdevallia Falcata 'Audrey' and its red.

If the light is to intense I will remove it from the Orchidarium of place it under one of the other shelves. There is a fan running 24/7 inside.

Thanks again - Sheridan

I am trying something in the Orchidarium. I have placed some shade cloth to shade the Masd. If this doesn't help I will have to remove it from the orchidarium. I worry though that outside the orchidarium there won't be enough humidity.

Sheridan...If you're misting it, and it isn't quite getting enough air movement, the spotting could be from moisture sitting too long on the leaves. How far is it from the fan? You might also try moving it closer to the air flow.
