Masdevallia Sunset Jaguar 'Psychedelic Sunset'
Just got this one, see this post for more info http://www.orchidboard.com/community...went-weak.html
It came in bloom, bud. Very beautiful. As nice as advertised. Quick shipping too. Very nice deal if I may say. Lets hope it does well with me.
I bought this and figured I would recieve it just after I hand in my Thesis. Well it worked out exactly. Even though I planned to hand in my Thesis on Wednesday, the I ended up handing it in at 12:30 Thursday, and recieved the plant at 1:00 PM. Yay!!!
First three pics are true color. Last one is a little darker.
Sunset Jaguar = M. chapparensis x Copper Angel <- You can definetly see the M. chapparensis
Copper Angel = M. veitchiana x M. triangularis

Pretty darn spectacular. Is this one warmth-tolerant? I'm ready and willing to be enabled.

Well,
M. chaparensis is a cool grower (50-63 F)
M. veitchiana is also a cool grower
M. triangularis is a cool to intermediate
So I would say it is not a warmth tolerant plant. And I am going to have to figure something out this summer.
