My experience with the "cool growers" is that up to low 80s F, they'll keep growing fine, but stop blooming. So they should survive until room temps drop in winter. Need lots of air movement, though. I have two fans running on my Masdies and they do very well. Temps are in low 60s to high 60s right now, though.

It's a great hybrid, love the colouring on that one.

I think you are right and it won't be warmth tolerant. Maybe move it to a bathroom on hot days? You should be right with it up to the low 80's though. Just on those hot days put it in the bathroom and move it back outside when it cools down? Not sure what your climate is like though.

My climate. Well this winter was wonderful. Cold and humid!!! So indoors next to a window, it was cool and humid. This spring has been better. Cool and wet. Summers are usually hot and humid. But last year it was warm and wet. Lets hope for another one of those, though most people don't like that weather.

Hey who cares what people like? As long as our orchids are happy, that's all that matters.

ha ha ha.
