Wild! The leaf looks kind of like a fuzzy pickle! But, I gotta admit, I like it. Very different flower too. Thanks for sharing it.

Those hairs, trichromes are often an adaptation to avoid water loss, either becuase of too much heat or low humidity in colder climates. I wonder.
