My Pleurothallis palliolata is mounted as well and is constantly wicking water becuase it is hanging on the inside of the an aquarium with 2-4 inches of water. I also have two foggers that heavily moisten the plant about 6-7 times a day for periods of over an hour. The foggers themselves are located next the plant and the amount of splash generated is enough to keep the mount soaking wet. My point is, I am very surprised at how wet you can keep these species. I suppose its ok because I have a fan that circulates the air 24/7, so the roots get plenty of oxygen.
