hehe, Yea, I've never heard of greenhouses having basements. Or do you mean a tour of your home?

My flat doesn't have a basement either. I mean a tour to the basement packed with masds, that belong to the founder of this thread. As I understood, they grow at the basement, not a greenhouse.

PS. I see only 2 masd at the moment, but I'm sure that basement will be full of them very soon.

Do you have a photo of it somewhere? Do you use a fan?
Do you mist every day? Do you have to siphon out water from the bottom or does it not build up much?

So many questions, sorry!

I would think that 4 48" t5s is way more than 1500 ft candles but that is definately way too much for most masdevallias. My light source is a simple aquarium light that is for growing freshwater plants. I will put up some more pics tonight. There are a few more plants in there...a restrepia antennifera and Pleurothallis tribuloides.

Restrepia and Pleurothallis pics? Woohoo! Seriously I can't wait to see them .. I have R. elegans, R. striata R. brachypus and R. xanthoploma [bad spelling I think] and too many Pleurothallis that I can't even name them all off my head
