I'm willing to make the sacrifice of caring for it if you don't have room. I live in the mild Pacific Northwest, so I'm good with cool growers.
This is one of the most gorgeous blooms I've ever seen! I'm only half (well, maybe more like 3/4) serious in my offer. Honestly, I'd hate to see you deprived of such a fantastic masdie, especially after having the good fortune to buy the last one.
I'm sure anyone would have gone weak at the chance to get this beauty! Thanks for the link so we could see it!

Ahh the Pacific Northwest. I wonder if any very high altitude orchids from South America would be able to naturalize there? You guys have a very temperate climate, with lots of humidity. Perfect for masdies. Is there any time when its not humid?

Maybe VERY high altitude orchids in VEEERRRRY mild areas here. Some places rarely see a freeze, but my area still gets a day or even a week in the teens, although winter storms have been getting worse recently. Darn climate change!
As for humidity, aside from the room with the woodstove, it stays in the 50-60% range even with the heat running in winter. In summer with the windows open, it usually stays in the 60-70% range, on dry days.
Guess I needs to gets me some masdies!!!
