Awesome! Dracula is one of my favorite genuses, even though I haven't gotten any yet (kicking myself as I type). I love the shape and the spotting and the red tails. They're just so cool!
Excellent photography as usual!

I'm also fascinated with these guys. What is the growing conditions for this one? And how old is this particular plant? I guess I am asking how long it takes to have them blooming like that. You do have that special touch! Very nice bloom, Mauro.

Very moderate light, intermediate to cool winters, fresh summer nights, Kiki. I have three plants of this species and the one in the photo is with me for at least five years and becomes a specimen plant now (it was already adult when I got it, although not large). When Draculas become specimen plants it is common that they keep giving flowers for months in a non-stop way.

I probably have good conditions for Dracs. I have one end of the house that gets down to 50-55 degrees F in the winter, and my area stays pretty humid all year. I certainly have the light for them.
But darn it! I've already got my list lined up this year and I've gotten several gifts, so my space just won't allow any more than what I have planned for now, to say nothing of my budget!
Well, next year will bring a new round of culling and room for new plants....

I totally understand the dilemma. During a few years I had only a little space in my apartment to grow my orchids and man... that was terrible because my list never ended and the space was always insufficient!
But, you know, give time to time and everything gets better.
