I've grown it always with Masdevallias but it seems to be tolerant of quite a range of conditions including intermediate and warm.

I should also mention that the flowers are quite small - the plant about 10 inches and the flowers approx. 5 cm.

Scaphs are among my favorite flowers and have been for a long time! They're just too cool!
I have 2 scaphs presently but have not been able to get them to bloom much to my frustration (had some years ago and did bloom those). Not sure i ftemps are the issue though both are supposedly cool to warm growers. Both are in a terr in which the temps are commonly in the 70's and low 80's but with pretty good air movement.
