wow, this is just bizzare. Was playing with the zoom and this it what it captured. M. caesia in all its stinky glory. This is how far you have to stick your nose into it to be able to really get a good whif! Any takers?

Nice close up. A lot of stinkers have that hairy tongue appearance. Must be for extra surface area to release the stink. Then again, probably more for the looks.

There's a useful little tidbit I'll have to write down!

Really cool flower! My camera can't take macros nearly as nice as that.
