Pleurothallis cardiothallis
A strange little plant that I looked at several times before I decided to buy it! Last year it put out only one flower. This year it made up for lost time by putting out 10 flowers at once!

I think these are soooo kool!! I would not have thought twice, if I saw it in bloom. Congrats!! And thanks for showing it off, I'm so happy to see one.

Well, it wasn't in bloom when I first saw it! But, for some reason I kept going back to it time and again, until Duncan finally said you better just buy it so you don't have to keep coming back to visit, so I did and I'm so glad that it called to me!
I really like unusual flowers and this one makes me smile everytime I see it!

Maybe it's because the leaves are heart shaped ?!
Hence the name...cardiothallis!
