Cryptophoranthus schenckii Cogn.

This is a small Pleurothallidinae native of the wet Atlantic forest in the southeast Brazil. Adult plants are 6" high more or less. The pollinator has to sneak in through small windows on the sides because the flowers don't open completely. I was given this small jewel because it was severely attacked by fungal diseases and was dying (ugly yellow areas and/or stains can still be seen on some leaves). Fortunately, I was able to save it and it is recovering. This is the first flower after a long time.
