Default Masdevallia Marguerite "Firewalker'

Not enough moisture on this plant while it was opening, should have had more humidity as well.

Very disappointing as this is a division of a very good plant. I will have to improve my conditions for next season.

You can see the reflexing and lumps on the flower caused by a lack of humidity.

Yeah it's pretty big, I haven't measured it but the flower is fairly large. If you want exact measurements I can get back to you tomorrow.

I was just curious. I have to be very particular about which Masdies I grow here...they need to be warmth-tolerant, rather small...and of course, gorgeous

It should bloom to award quality but that flowering turned out badly due to a lack of humidity. I'm glad you like it anyway but trust me it was poor.
