Masdevallia Top Ten List
Looking for recommendations for the top ten, must have, Masdevallia species or hybrids!
I am especially interested in the minis or super unusual ones.
I'd like to add a new one to my collection. . .looking for something really special.
I am seriously considering Andy's Masdevallia papillosa or the Masdevallia marthae or the Masdevallia filaria And the problem is, there are about ten other ones that I really like too.
Any thoughts?

Why choose between the three? I say buy 'em all! Hehe.....on a more serious note, I looked at all three links and they are all awesome! In my opinion I think the Masdevallia marthae is the more interesting one, followed by Masdevallia papillosa. I only have one NOID Masdevallia hybrid so I am of not much help!

Hey, orchid buddy! Your opinion is always appreciated!!!!
Yes that marthae is veddy interestick, and it's not too big too!
Wonder why the papillosa is so expensive?

I really love the nidifica. . .Andy has a sort of greenish one. It's soooo hard to tell from the pics but his looks different than your pic. I really think this one's cool. . .and it's tiny!
Masdevallia / ophioglossa (nidifica ssp ventricosa)
Thanks for you thoughts, Tom!

Gwen, you should take a look at I.N. Komoda for Masdies.
They are known for "warmth-tolerant" Masdies but that's just "tolerant"...not actually warm growers.
Beautiful, healthy and not insanely priced
