Default Masdevallia tala sca

I'm happy, my Masdevallia tala sca is starting to bloom with 2 open, 6 more buds on the way. This is my second type I've gotten to flower, the first 2 were Oncidium. Still can't get either of my 2 Phalaenopsis to flower, I thought they were supposed to be easy. I'll just keep trying, I like the challenge.

During the colder months I grow under lights. Summer I grow out doors on my deck. My indoor set-up consists of a number of full spectrum cfl's (1 - 125 watt actual, 3 100 watt output, I think 47 watt actual), and humidity trays. When I got it, I transplanted the entire clump with it's original moss media into a 4" plastic pot surrounding it with regular orchid mix.
By the way it's still blooming! For me, this plant is as easy as a weed to grow, I have trouble with Phals.

Well, as I live in the desert, outside isn't an option for me very often.
Now, phals to me are the easiest so far

I purchased a Tala Ska from Parkside Orchids a year ago and it has bloomed 3 times in the year. The last time it bloomed was Nov 07 and it just kept putting out new spikes ever week for months. I asked the guys at Parkside about this and they said that Tala Ska was mis- labled and was really a "Ted Khoe". It looks just like yours. Any way nice job on growing Masdie's.
