Pics of Dryadella lilliputiana with seed capsule

I got this Dryadella lilliputiana a couple weeks ago and noticed the seed capsule there (it was already there when I got the plant, I just haven't had time to post the pics till now). I'm not going to try growing the seeds because I'm not into that kind of torture. I am curious how many seeds might be contained in a micro orchid capsule like this (dozens, hundreds, thousands, etc?).

I'm also curious if a capsule like this is worth anything for sale or trade. (I'm not actually offering here, I'm just wondering if that is unheard of or not)

Could be hundreds of seeds. It’s impossible to do an actual seed count if you don’t have advanced technology aiding you.

If you’d like, I can purchase the pod off you if it’s still viable and give you instructions on how to package them. Send me a DM if you’re willing to take me up on the offer. I’ll send the seeds to a lab.

There’s no guarantee the seeds will produce anything and the final yield is likely to be small if the seeds do germinate.

By inference, you now know that selling or trading seed/seed pods is what some hobbyists do with each other.
