Many of you may be familiar with this species. For perspective that is a 1" pot. But just look at the number of blooms! Four out and at least 6 more on the way.

An interesting tidbit, check out the hinged tongue:

Time to come clean: I just bought it a few weeks ago.
Dan Newman at Hanging Gardens - Orchid Species and Select Hybrids should be taking all the credit. He attended our local orchid show (Carmel CA) and brought an AMAZING array of unusual mounts, and minis. I suggest contacting him if you're interested in very high quality unusual orchids.

Thus, <sigh> I can't comment on the culture but I've been keeping it in a cool indoor area. Seems to be responding very well.

Kavanaru, May I ask where you found the Dryadella liliputiana? I have been unable to find one.

Thanks

I bought it from Großräschener Orchideen in Germany. Immediatelly after that, they took the species out of the cataloge. I finally received the plant last week but am not happy with the quality of it. I have complainned but the team at Großräschener Orchideen ignores my messages. So, I would never buy again from them (6 plants ordered: one in terrible conditions, 3 very stressed, and 2 of good quality).
Currently I am trying to save the Dryadella: gave it a 10 hours bath with rooting hormones solution, and have it growing on living sphagnum moss under intermediate to coll conditions. Let's see if it survive and start growing... so, people in OB, cross your fingers for my little dwarf Drydella!
