Masdevallia Falcta is a hybrid of veitchiana x coccinea, both of which are cool-intermediate growing species. This is definitely not a warm grower, and it will let you know that it isn't happy.

Grows ok in this Australian summer with the right kind of management Phantasm. No problems so far.

I wouldn't say any are truly warm growers that I have but with proper management they do ok.
