something did chew on it or got a little dry. the fresh leaves will curl if they get too hot or dry. the black spots IMO come from wet stagnant air. keep the air moving.

no direct sun but bright shaded light is good. don't let it dry out. they like a small constant breeze too. as easy as these are to improve your orchid growing ego, everyone should own one of these.

needs more trimming and cut a few more out today. want to keep the plants shape. trimming these are like bonsai

you can see the fresh greens popping up all over. tried to come up with a formula for figuring out new growths. the math tells me at least 120 new plants. wait for flowers now bec the chids dey grow up fast...

masdevallia herradurae x nicaragua-img_0366-jpgHey RJ, right after I got mine I put it under my Leds and it really turned light color.I bought a little Growhouse and put it in there with the leds turned all the way up, and it stayed real light colored, so I turned the lights down to about half way and I think that is going to be ok. I like the shade of color on yours! Oh and its directly above the outlet on my ac, so its going to get plenty of air movement. I also put my new little dendrobium cuthbertsonii var pepe. In there with it cause they both like cool temps.

been a few months since the update.
its being trimmed to let the interior grow. The new math shows about 200 plus new growths. It might be fuzzy math

you see the older leaf tips starting to yellow out. didnt want to cut too many and lose the nutrients the leaves have left. These nutrients are already broke down and useable right away for the plant.
