If you have the conditions for mounted plants, they grow well mounted, since they have a creeping habit.

Thanks, Roberta! It's just a video I watched on youtube, this guy had two Barbosellas and the one that received more light boooom it was full of blooms and the other one was quite poor, though the size was the same. I grow indoors so I always stay away from mounted enclosures. I have it with coco peat, lava rock for aeration and a little moss on top, same as my Masdevallia whom by the way has loved this setup.
