Default More masdevallias blooming in the GH

Here's a couple more that were open this morning. The fuschia colored one is Masd. Fuschia Dawn (go figure ) the orange/red one is Masd. ignea. Both of these usually bloom mid April-end of May for me, though the Fuschia Dawn will bloom sporadically in the fall as well. Enjoy!

Your Masdies are gorgeous and I only wish I could grow the very colorful ones here.

No fragrance from either snow... It seems sort of odd, but I have better luck with Masdevallia species then I do with the hybrids--I think it may be something to do with the warmth tolerant breeding; sure they can take a little heat, but it seems that they are incapable of taking a little cool...
