Dracula benedictii is a flower machine and doesn't seem to be all that sensitive to summer heat. Actually, I have had reasonable success with Drac. roezlii, Drac. woolwardii, Drac.cordobae, and a couple of others of the big, flat, sequention ones... they open in the cool of the morning, partly collapse in the heat of the day, and come back the next mornng (sometimes in the evening) But Drac benedictii stays open the whole time, with lots of small, cute flowers. Here's the whole plant from my website, check the page for some closeups.
