Native to Ecuador, elevation 1700-1800 m. A flower only a mother could love. (Or a species nut, I love fuzzy orchids). Flowers maybe not "pretty" but intriguing. It blooms several times a year.
Gorgeous colour and texture. The fuzzyness is probably an adaptation to cool temperature exposure. The flowers look fly or other carrion insect pollinated. Very intriguing.
